Unconference??

Unlike more traditional conferences, Unconference events tend to be dynamic, active and highly participatory and seek to provide attendees with opportunities to participate and engage in discussions identifying challenges and proposing solutions and action for positive change.

A few questions which will be discussed in the presentation "Research and Arts in Action for Community and Cultural Change"

How can marginalized communities within our cities participate actively and creatively in the community change process?

How can the creative arts in action help our community members share their stories and lived experiences through varied arts methods and how can the public witness these stories?

How can the creative arts in interdisciplinary practice actively involve multiple groups and disciplines working together in a process to help transform communities and contribute to the health and vitality of our citizens and our cities?

How can municipal leaders in arts and culture support and foster the creative arts in action for community change in their own cities?
